Colonial Residence, Mauritius

A private 19th century residence in the heart of island capital Port Louis and one of the most important colonial homes in Mauritius. Its architect, Thomy Thierry was lauded internationally and bequeathed his artworks to the Louvre on his death. Extensive historic restoration works were completed alongside a 21st century update in order to create a spacious home and workspace and a location for the owner’s expanding eclectic art collection and his love of sport memorabilia.
